WHILE Rathmore are excused from County Championship duty this weekend, they face a trip north to face Finuge in the Senior Club Championship.

The East Kerry side have a mini injury crisis ahead of the game, Aidan O'Mahony's injury is well known but Brendan O'Keeffe is also out for the foreseeable future. Conor and Donal O'Sullivan are also big doubts for the 2011 winners this weekend.

Finuge bowed out of the County Championship rather disappointingly after losses to St Michaels/Foilmore and St Brendans. However given home advantage and their opponents' injury worries, they will view this as a golden opportunity to make progress on two fronts.

First they can set up a semi-final with Dr Crokes and second they can also preserve their senior status for another game should they be successful on Sunday. Paul Galvin, Maurice and Pat Corridan will be key to Finuge's chances and Rathmore will need all of their experience at this level if they are to advance.

Verdict: Finuge
