County senior football and hurling leagues launched

The 2014 Credit Union Senior Football and Hurling Leagues were launched at a function in the Kerins O'Rahillys Clubhouse hosted by Chapter 23 of the Irish League of Credit Unions and the Kerry County GAA Committee on Monday night.

Chapter 23 Chairman, Jack Harrington, said the Credit Union were very pleased to be associated the County Leagues for a 12th season, He said that the Credit Unions and the GAA had a lot in common as both were community based with lots of volunteers involved in both organisations and he welcomed the Credit Union's involvement in over 1,000 games throughout the year.

Patrick O'Sullivan, Chairman of the Kerry County Committee, thanked the Credit Union for their continued sponsorship of Kerry GAA stating that, despite both being amateur organisations they just kept on growing. He congratulated the various winners in all Divisions in 2013 and wished them well for the season ahead.
