Abha na Scail 0-12

Caisleán Ghriaire 0-12

IN a closely fought contest with some great football played, Annascaul and Castlegregory finished all square in Annascaul on Saturday afternoon. With both teams missing a few players and the game ebbing and flowing throughout both halves, it was a fair result.

Shane Foley opened the scoring for Annascaul with a point from play, and he was followed with a converted free from Genie Farrell (below).

Full forward Gerard Lenihan kicked a point from play before Genie Farrell kicked two, one from play and one from a free. Annascaul's Garrett O'Donnell kicked a point from play just before half time to leave it Annascaul 0-6 to Castlegregory 0-7 at half time.

Kenneth Quirke for Annascaul got their first point from play of the second half. This was followed by Genie Farrell once again from a free and another from play closely after.

Gerard Lenihan kicked a point from play and again Genie Farrell from a free before Eamonn Hickson made a great run to score a point from play.
