Tyrone group pay respects to Páidí

THE impact of Páidí Ó Sé's sudden passing on December 15 has been felt far an wide and this was clearly demonstrated on St Stephen's Day when a group travelled from Tyrone to pay their respects at his grave in Ventry.

According to Páidí's close friend Muiris Ó Fiannachta, a mini-bus with approximately 20 people on board visited Paidi's grave in Ventry early on Wren's Day, having set out from Tyrone at 5am to make the long return journey.

"They left a note at the graveside saying that they were honoured to have known Páidí both on and off the pitch," said Muiris.

News of the visit has spread quickly throughout West Kerry and has certainly touched the hearts of Páidí's family, friends and the people of West Kerry.
