SEAFOOD establishments in Cahersiveen and Renard Point are celebrating this week after they were selected as Kerry's only representatives in the highly acclaimed 2014 Michelin 'Eating Out In Pubs' guide.

QC's in Cahersiveen and O'Neill's Seafood Bar at Renard Point were among just 34 pubs nationwide on a Michelin list published on Friday. The achievement is all the more impressive considering the fact that just one Dublin pub featured on the list and just 15 of the 32 counties are home to a recommended pub.

It's been a bumper award-packed fortnight for QCs, who were also winners at the National Hospitality Awards in Association with Hospitality Ireland, collecting a Best Casual Dining Award at a ceremony held in the Four Seasons Hotel in Dublin.

The award follows a BIM Seafood Restaurant of the Year award last year, while QC's Townhouse was awarded the Bridgestone Design of the Year Award, placed in the Bridgestone top 100 and received a recommendation from Georgina Campbell as a 'great short break' destination.
