Target of €125k from KGH night at the dogs

THE friends of Kerry General Hospital are to host a Gala Benefit Night on Saturday June 1 at the Kingdom Greyhound Stadium, Tralee, to raise much-needed funds for hospital equipment.

The goal of €125,000 would provide Kerry General Hospital with a DEXA Scanner, which perceives fragile bones and identifies patients prone to osteoporosis.

Director of Corporate Affairs at Kerry Group Frank Hayes, commented: "Kerry Group is delighted to sponsor the Kerry General Hospital Fundraising Night, which is one of the most worthy community benefit events at Tralee Greyhound Stadium each year.

The event has been running for 22 years and has raised over €1.2 million for the hospital.
