Submissions for area plan

SUBMISSIONS are now being accepted for the new Abbeyfeale Local Area Plan 2008 - 2014, along with the Local Area Plan for Abbeyfeale 2014 - 2020.
To assist in preparing the plan, a background document outlining the issues to be addressed is available from the Limerick County Council's website at www.lcc.ie, the public library in Abbeyfeale, the council offices in Newcastle West and Economic Development and Planning Section, and the County Hall in, Dooradoyle, during normal office hours until November 11.
The statutory period for making submissions on the proposed Abbeyfeale Local Area Plan will be during the six week public display period of the proposed plan. The proposed plan is anticipated to go on public display in January.
Children, groups or associations representing the interests of children, are entitled to make submissions or observations.
Any pre-draft submissions on the key issues affecting Abbeyfeale that people wish to have taken into account in the preparation of the new Local Area Plan for the town should be made in writing to the Forward Planning Section, Economic Development and Planning, Limerick County Council, County Hall, Dooradoyle, Co Limerick or can be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org up until Monday, November 11.
