SHANNON Development have hosted a reception at Kerry Technology Park in Tralee to celebrate the success of Sean Ryan CEO of Aspen Grove which is based at the park.
Mr Ryan is one of the finalists in the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year Awards and the reception was held to wish him well in the upcoming final awards night in Dublin which takes polace on on October 25.
This is the fifth time that an entrepreneur from Kerry Technology Park has made it to the finals of the prestigious national Awards.
The first was well known entrepreneur Jerry Kennelly in 2005, followed by Alan Scroope of FreeFlow in 2006 and Jim Breen, PulseLearning in 2007, then Mike Fitzgerald of Altobridge in 2009. Three of these Mike Fitzgerald, Alan Scroope and Jerry Kennelly went on to win the title of Emerging Entrepreneur of the Year.

Aspen Grove was among the first five companies to establish a base at Kerry Technology Park when it opened in 2001. The company has grown from a start-up to a global operation employing 70 people.
