THERE is no doubt that West Kerry is a hive of creative activity and when a group of artists pool their collective resources the result can often be stunning.
The artists of West Kerry's Meitheal Eitseála are one such group and they are currently inviting the public to visit their new studio on John Street in Dingle. The opening of their first studio exhibition will take place this Friday November 30 (beginning at 7.30pm) and all are welcome to drop in, enjoy a glass of mulled wine and view their etchings. The tools and equipment used by this talented ensemble to create their art will also be on display. Over the following two days (December 1 and 2) the studio will be open to the public, which will enable all to see the Meitheal Eitseála printing press in action.
