A TRALEE family (left) have become the public face of a Christmas advertising campaign launched by an Australian company who import Irish goods to supply the many thousands of Irish people now living Down Under.
Marian, Claudia and Joe Carroll from Shanakill are fronting Taste Ireland's Christmas hamper campaign which was launched this week and allows Irish families to send a hamper full of Irish fare to their loved ones in Australia.
The firm recruited the Carrolls to take part in the ad campaign when a company representative bumped into them in Sydney earlier this month.
Marian and Joe were in Sydney to visit their daughter Claudia who has been living and working in New South Wales for the last year.
Claudia, who sends her best wishes for Christmas to everyone at home, says that unfortunately she won't be able to make it back this year and plans to spend Christmas day on the beach with friends.
