Kerry acts head for Scór na nog semi-finals

KERRY will be represented in all eight categories of this weekend's Scór na nOg Munster semi finals, which will take place in Ovens Co Cork on Sunday, January 13.

Representatives from across the county will vie for a coveted spot in the upcoming Munster finals, competing against other GAA clubs from across Cork and Waterford on Sunday.

Spa GAA will be flying the Kerry flags in three categories at the weekend. Katie O'Connor, Hanna McAuliffe, Leah Moynihan, Ciara O'Shea, Lamia Switzer, Aine Brosnan, Katie Cronin, Sarah Slattery will be taking part in the figure dancing category; Liam Spillane, Gary O'Sullivan, Ciaran O'Doherty, Eoin O'Donoghue, Katie O'Connor, Anna O'Connor, Katie Cronin, Ciara O'Shea will be representing the club in the set dancing category, while brianiacs Niamh Clifford, Michael Aherne and Thomas Fleming will compete in the question time category.

St Senans will also be well represented at the semifinals, where Gearoid Galvin will compete in the recitation category and clubmates Aoife Enright, Asling Foran, Yvonne Dillon, Padraig Enright, Donal Hunt, Sean Galvin, Gearoid Galvin, Jonathan Curtin will vie for honours in the novelty act section.

Neighbouring Crotta O'Neills will have Eamonn Shanahan, Paraic Shanahan, Aoife Mahoney, Sinead O'Sullivan, Barry Mahoney competing in the instrumental music section.

Keel's talented singers will also be representing the Mid Kerry Board very well, with Aisling O'Neill, Sarah Sayers, Morgan Sayers, Heather Gray, Jasmine Grey taking part in the ballad group section, with Heather Grey competing in the solo singing category.
