THE next Transition Kerry public meeting will be held on Wednesday, October 17, at the Carlton Hotel at 8pm.
Transition Kerry is part of a local, national and international initiative to get local communities think about making themselves more resilient, in response to major world happenings.
The evening will be a discussion on how to reduce your household energy bills, how to save money, protect the environment, help local community and business.
There will be an update by Transition Kerry Energy Working Group. Tralee Town Council Sustainable Energy Community project will give an update on their work in Tralee. St. Vincent de Paul will talk on the impacts of fuel affordability issues. Clonakilty Energy Group will talk about how their experience can benefit Tralee.
There will be time for your input also. Admission to the event is free of charge.
