A remastered edition of Disney classic Snow White and the Seven Dwarves will screen at 6pm on Friday, September 20, next in the first of two special instalments for Culture Night in the town.

Meanwhile, the grown-ups are in for a cult cinema treat from 8pm but as yet.

"We're not sure yet as to the feature for adults on the night but we reckon it's going to be a cult classic," Yvonne Murphy of the Kerry Film Festival said.

"And the kids are in for a treat with Snow White and the Seven Dwarves, it's a wonderful movie and we hope to get a great crowd into the Square for both screenings!"

Entirely free, the event has been supported by Tralee Town Council as well as local publicans and traders in the area. "It should make for a great community gathering on Culture Night and we'd urge everyone who can to attend," Yvonne added.
