GOURMET buffets, dragqueen racing, spooky fancy dress parades and much, more make Moyvane the place to be this Halloween weekend.
The annual Village Festival starts on Friday night with with Drag Queen racing at 8.30pm on the street. "It was a huge hit last year all thanks to the lads and we hope it will be just as big this time round!" Movyane Development and Tidy Towns Association PRO Ursula Enright said.
Friday night will see the Interpub Talent Competition kicking off, with the prize going to whichever pub has ' the best craic'. Enrights are defending the title.
On Saturday evening the famous Boro Buffet will have the best of local, gourmet produce at the Marian Hall.
Sunday's events start with a vintage rally at noon; a craft fair and market from 11.30am until 4pm; a Halloween treasure hunt from 2pm; dog show at 3pm and a bonny baby and glamorous granny competitions at 3.30pm.
That night the Boro Players perform the oneact play Dopey Dan and the festival will wrap up with a fancy dress parade and a massive hooley in Máiréad's Bar from 8pm.
