On Friday, October 25, CH Chemists held an evening of fashion of beauty which was hosted by celebrity guest Mary Kennedy of RTE's Nationwide. As well as receiving all manner of style and beauty tips from CH's Helen Lawlor Parker and Sandra Rusk of Weardrobe, guests were also given a chance to hear from Donal Walsh's mother, Elma, who gave a fascinating and emotional interview about her inspirational son and his incredible impact on the world to Mary Kennedy.

This evening also included a fashion show and a lively segment from six of CH Chemist's cosmetic staff who outlined their desert island beauty products.

The night proved a huge success and between ticket sales, sales of raffle tickets and proceeds of purchases on the night, a total of €5,294 was raised for Donal's LifeLife foundation.

Last Tuesday evening Elma Walsh returned to CH where she was presented with a cheque for the night's taking which will no be put towards advancing Donal's most passionate causes - suicide prevention, cancer awareness and the provision of better facilities for young people and teenagers in Ireland's hospitals.

Peter Harty of CH Chemists said the night had been a great success and thanked everybody who came along and all those involved in organising the night.
