Death of Killarney native in US

The late Margaret Daly Sheehan
MARGARET Daly Sheehan of Spring Lake Heights, New Yor, and late of Killarney was a vibrant 102 year old until a recent fall with ensuing complications.
Margaret passed away peacefully on December 24. She was a parishioner of St Catherine's RC Church in Spring Lake.
Margaret was born in Knocklebade, Killarney, on December 8, 1910. She immigrated to Boston in
1927, and later moved to New York City to be with her husband of 49 years, Michael.
Margaret was a longtime resident of the Riverdale section of the Bronx. After raising he children, she worked for years at Mount Saint Vincent College. Having summered at the Jersey Shore for most of her life, she eventually moved to The Arbors, where she made many friends. She will be remembered for her brogue and wit.
Margaret was predeceased by her beloved husband, Michael (a footballer of note with the Kerry New York football team) from Dromid, where many of his family still reside.
She is survived by her four children Patricia Baker of Mashpee, Mass., JoAnn Sheehan of Vero Beach, Florida, John [Rita] Sheehan of Brielle, Michael [Joanne] of Fairfield, Connecticut, her sister Ellen Doyle of London, seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and family in Boston and Ireland.
