The objective of the Kerry Community Awards is to recognise the work of the community and voluntary sector that seeks to improve the Social, Economic, Cultural and Environmental quality of life in our local communities, both urban and rural.
HOW TO ENTER THIS AWARD SCHEME
The information and definitions for each Award Category are outlined hereunder and with closing dates for submission of entries for each Category. This notice will appear every week in the Kerryman until 30th January 2013. Submit project details using the official Application Form (+ three copies) and any other additional relevant material. Constitutions, Articles of Association and photographs are welcomed but not necessary. Both small and large projects will be given equal consideration. Projects will be judged on impact. Please note materials submitted will not be returned. Applications may be submitted electronically.
Finalists from each category will be featured in the Kerryman during the months of December 2012, February and March 2013, and the finalists in each category will go forward to the final selection in April 2013, where awards for category winners and runners-up will be awarded and the Overall Award will also be presented.
Completed entries should be returned to:
