THE committee behind the St. Patrick's Day Parade has appealed for volunteers to help with the increasingly busy national holiday celebrations in Castleisland.

They're making their appeal ahead of their opening, planning meeting at The Crown Hotel on Friday, January 25th at 7.30pm.

The annual appeal to clubs, organisations, businesses and individuals to pull out all the stops for the great day will no doubt resound from the meeting.

It has been a hugely successful rallying call over the years and, as a result, the day has become one of the biggest and busiest on the streets of the town.

The meeting at The Crown would be your best bet in becoming a parade volunteer.
