Beaufort Tidy Towns launch website

BEAUFORT Tidy Towns has launched a new website detailing the very best the picturesque parish has to offer and much more besides - the address is easy to remember as it's

The site includes interesting facts about Beaufort as well as a plethora of information about the committee.

There's an up to date events page too which will keep viewers posted about activities and projects in the area.

Funded by Kerry County Council's Local Agenda 21 scheme and sponsored by Copywrite Ltd, Tralee, the site was launched at the group's recent AGM.

Meanwhile, the 2013 'Beaufort in Bloom competition winners also received their awards at last week's meeting.

Winners included: Best premises - Maurice McSweeney, Myles Forge; Best garden - Joan Galvin, Pot of Gold; Best use of hanging baskets - Beaufort Bar; Best estate - Beaufort Park and Highly commended - Cocoon Salon.
