SENIOR HURLING: Congratulations to the Ballyduff Senior hurlers who added the Credit Union County Senior Hurling League Division 1 title to their Senior Hurling Championship crown by defeating Kilmoyley on a scoreline of 3-14 to 0 -16 at Abbeydorney on Sunday last. The outcome of this encounter was never in doubt as an early Pádraig Boyle goal settled Ballyduff and gave them a good cushion. Mikey Boyle added another before the break and these two goals separated the sides throughout. Second half substitute and team captain Aidan Boyle secured the title for Ballyduff with a third goal and this game proved a good warm up for their Munster Intermediate Championship semi-final clash with Ballybrown of Limerick at the weekend. MUNSTER CLUB HURLING: Ballyduff's next outing is on this Saturday November 10th when they travel to Kilmallock to take on the Limerick champions Ballybrown in the semi-final of the Munster Intermediate Club Hurling Championship with the throw-in at 2pm.
