Ballinskelligs brothers' firm integral to NY relief effort
A CONSTRUCTION firm owned by two Ballinskelligs men has been integral in the relief effort.
Owned by Donal and Kevin O'Sullivan, Navillus, was set up 25 years ago and their projects have included The Memorial and the Museum at Ground Zero as well as high rise buildings, NYC schools and subway stations.
In the days after 'Sandy', the company set up a vital 'warming and relief ' centre in Belle Harbour in the Rockaways.
It has been providing hot meals on a daily basis, as well as coordinating the distribution of clothing and other much needed supplies to people in need. The company has also assisted with the clean out and gutting of numerous homes in the area.
