The late Rosaleen Hussey
ON FRIDAY morning October 5, Rosaleen Hussey (nee Maginn) of St Brendan's Park and formerly of Moyderwell, Tralee, slipped peacefully through the bonds of this earth at her home to touch the face of God.
For the past twelve years, Rosaleen battled the cognitive and physical constraints of Alzheimers disease, at home. Yet unfettered, the beautiful qualities that made her our mom - the beautiful endearing smile, the caring touch and her unbridled love for us were always present.
In these past days, her children Frank, Judith, Louanna and Vincent have pondered and shared the wonderful memories of growing up with their mom and dad, Tom who passed on in 1987.
Rosaleen's remains reposed at the Gleasure Funeral Home on Sunday, October 7 with removal to Our Lady and St Brendan's Church. Requiem Mass was celebrated on Monday morning at 11 o'clock, with interment afterwards in St John's Cemetery, Oakview.
Unfortunately, the words that are spoken at a funeral are too late for the one who has passed.
Therefore her children would like their families, friends and readers to know how proud and forever grateful we are to have called Rose Hussey our Mom.
Forever in your debt Mom and Dad.
Frank, Judith, Louanna and Vince.
