A 70-ACRE farm in Foilagohig, Ballydesmond, Co Cork, is to be put up for auction in the Royal Hotel, Killarney, on Wednesday, October 2, at 3pm.
The property includes a 30-unit slatted unit and a single storey house. The modern house is wired and plumbed to second fix, and also includes a kitchen, sitting/dining room area and a utility room.
With great road frontage and its own entrance, the property also features an independent water supply and water troughs throughout. The farming land, which has entitlements included, is of good agricultural quality and fit for grazing.
Of the total 70 acres, there are 20 acres of silage fields and 18 acres as part of a glen.
The property is being sold through Tom Spillane Auctioneers, Killarney, who say "we will be guiding offers in the region of €5,000 per acre".
"This is a great piece of agricultural land, just down to the sheer quality of it," said Tom.
"That's the first thing you look for when buying a piece of land for agricultural purposes and, when you combine that with the good residence, it does make a complete property," he added.
