A LISTOWEL woman living in the big smoke was extremely proud to attend the graduation of two young girls from a literacy programme at an inner-city school.

Yvonne Sheehy was present for the graduation of her two little scholars recently - Leah Kavanagh and Nicole Ryan. It all came about when Yvonne's company, law firm A&L Goodbody, partnered with the Suas charity.

Suas is an education charity and runs the Literacy Support Programme in which Yvonne was selected as mentor for both girls - pupils at St Vincent's School in East Wall in Dublin. Yvonne simply hooked up with them on a regular basis to help them with their reading and writing.

Their big smiles on graduation day said it all as to how precious Yvonne's help was in their learning journey.
