The charities supported this year were Glebe Lodge on the Brosna Road, Castleisland and the Irish Kidney Association, who were represented by Geraldine O'Donoghue and Theresa Looney respectively.

Both charities do excellent work in their fields and Geraldine and Theresa were presented with cheques for €1,690 each.

The committee wish to thank Paul Knight and the staff of The Half Barrel for their hospitality on the night.

On behalf of the Fitzmaurice family and the charities supported this year, the committee thanked all the tractor and vintage bike and car drivers who braved the poor weather conditions on the day and and made the outing such a success.

"We wish all the participants on the Paudie Fitzmaurice Tractor Run 2013 and everybody who contributed to the success of the event in any way a very Happy Christmas and successful New Year. See you all in 2014," said PRO Danny Kelliher.
