KILLARNEY'S Malton Hotel has teamed up with a local production company to create a new TV advertising campaign for the well known hotel.
The Malton hired local production company, K Town Media, and Killarney musician, Ian Whitty to create a story and ad campaign based around the hotel experience which sees key staff members sharing their stories.
K Town Media was founded earlier this year by three TV professionals from Killarney, director Adrian McCarthy, editor Tony Murphy and cameraman Niall Foley.
All three recently moved back to Killarney, and launched a new TV advertising production company which they hope will rival productions made anywhere else in the country.
"We don't feel location should be a barrier. We're taking a risk and so far it's paying off for us. The story-based ad concept is a new one and we're bringing that into The Malton's adverts. They're personal and individual as no other hotels are running ads of this type currently," said Adrian McCarthy.
"The adverts took about a month to produce from the initial discussion on the concepts to the filming and production of the first ad. The process took about two months for all four ads to be complete. All the music used is from Kerry," he said.
