Making a difference in young people's lives

The Kerry Diocesan Youth Service office in Castleisland is looking for adults with an interest in volunteering within their services.
In particular, they need people to work in the youth café or with specific group areas such as: helping with homework; cooking; health and beauty and IT issues and so forth.
"Volunteering is very rewarding for both young people and the adult volunteers.
"Young people are provided with a social outlet and get the support and encouragement they need to develop to their full potential whilst volunteers gain a great sense of achievement in contributing to the positive development of young people," said Madeleine Frissung of the KDYS.
All volunteer applicants must be at least 18 years old and must complete volunteer training, screening and Garda vetting before being selected.
To find out more and receive an application form you're invited to contact Madeleine on 087 277 4919 or at firstname.lastname@example.org or call into KDYS Castleisland.
