THE LUCKY winner of the €500,000 Euromillions ticket, which was sold in Murphy's SuperValu, Kenmare, has yet to come forward and claim the prize.
The ticket, sold in the shop on Friday, snatched the half a million euro prize in the draw later that night.
According to Derry Murphy, owner of the store, the winner is still out there. "No one has come forward for it yet," said Derry - before quickly adding: "everyone came to work, and it's not me!"
"It's still a mystery but whoever it is I would assume will have to go up to the headquarters in Dublin to claim it," he added.
Speculation around the town is mounting as to the identity of the winner, although with the time of year and the influx of tourists into the town, it may not be someone from the locality.
April saw a similar situation in Kerry, with a Tralee woman winning €500,000 in the Euromillions draw.
