Registration: will take place on Thursday night, 31st, from 7.30pm to 9.00pm in the clubrooms for all children from U6 to U16. This is a great opportunity for children to get to play the world's fastest field-game all for the meagre sum of 10 euro per child.

NEXT SATURDAY (FEB 2ND) THE 4TH, 5TH, & 6TH CLASS GIRLS OF LIXNAW GIRLS SCHOOL will help us to celebrate the Feast of St. Brigid. Brigid is the female Patron Saint of Ireland.

Huge Congratulations must be given to Lixnaw CCÉ member Gearóid Galvin who was a winner with his recitation in the Scór na nÓg Munster finals which took place in Mallow on Sun last. His performance was indeed outstanding. Gearóid will now go forward to the Scór na nÓg All Ireland finals to be held in Derry on Sat 23rd Feb next. Comhghairdeas Gearóid agus go n'eirí leat ar an lá! Also, congratulations to Lixnaw CCÉ member, Keith O' Connor who won the Community games U13 solo music representing Abbeydorney/Killynn, which was held in Abbeydorney on Sat night last.Keith will now go forward to the All Ireland finals which will be held in Athlone in May. Well done also to Lixnaw Community Games group, Eléna Mc Elligott, Páraic Shanahan, Eimear Quinlan, Conor O' Keeffe and Seán Galvin who came in a very close second place in the Community games U13 group music competition.
