Live dancing makes a welcome return to the Mount Brandon Hotel, Tralee on Friday April 5. Country Music promoter Joe Finnegan has this week announced details of his plans to bring some of Ireland's top dance acts to the Brando
"Brandon Country" will kick of in style with Declan Nerney & Band.
"We are thrilled with the reaction to this new dance venue," said Mr Finnegan to the Kerryman this week. "I just can't wait to get started. We have some great nights of dancing to look forward to. We aim to run every Friday night for the month of April and then we will continue with a dance once a month."
The Brandon is renowned as a live dance venue over the years as crowds flocked to the popular Hotel to dance to the big showband names including Big Tom and Larry Cunningham.
Indeed Big Tom packed the great room on a recent visit to the Kingdom. It is hoped that the King himself will perform thee during the summer months.
Declan Nerney will do the honours on the opening night, April 5 and on April 12th its Country Sensation Nathan Carter. On April 19th it's the turn of Patrick Feeney and on April 26th Mike Denver will perform at this new venue.
