The Munster Evenage Cross Country championships took place in Beaufort Killarney last Sunday in glorious weather conditions. In the juvenile section with up to and over 100 athletes in the younger ages it made for some very exciting racing and even closer finishes.
Congratulations and well done to all the following athletes from Lios Tuathail A.C.who took part on the day, Robert Stack, Abbey Lynch, Caoimhe Barry, Rebecca Barry, Sophie Lynch, Maria O Neill, Niamh Stack, Aoife Mahony, Vanessa Dineen and especially to Darragh Browne who took an individual medal in his first major provincial competition in the boys under 16 4,000m and with the help of his club mates Michael Foley and Kieran Lynch assisted the kerry team to the silver medal position.

For those who may not have previously played the sport why not come along to St. Michael's college gym on any Tuesday night from 8 pm to 10 pm or to the local Community Centre each Thursday night at the same hours. Under 15's are also catered for at St. Michael's gym on each Mon & Wed nights from 7 pm to 8 pm. The Listowel Club will hold their first monthly tournament of the new season on this Thursday night at the Community Centre commencing at 8 pm sharp. All players are requested to check in at 7.50.
