Kerry Volunteer Centre values volunteering. We are committed to encouraging,supporting and enabling people to volunteer. We provide a suite of services to both individuals and voluntary and community groups throughout the county of Kerry so that volunteering is a positive and recommendable experience.
Autumn/Winter training Kerry Volunteer Centre is delighted to advise you of our Autumn/Winter training program developed to meet the identified needs and recommendations of Kerry's Community and Voluntary Groups. The training sessions are being delivered over half days and fully days, at morning, afternoon and evening times throughout Kerry in order to accommodate your availability and attendance. Locations include Kenmare, Caherciveen, Listowel and Killarney.
The training schedule include such topics as How to develop and implement policies that meet your organisation needs, Garda Vetting and Volunteer Screening, Volunteer Management and The 2012 Code of Practice for Good Governance of Community and Voluntary Organisation's in Ireland. Places are limited and are allocated on a first come first served basis upon receipt of booking form before Friday 28th September. The booking form along with training outline is available from Sandra, firstname.lastname@example.org. Three of the four sessions are totally free!
