Unfortunately due to the frosty morning and icy roads we lost a few riders from the AI/O and Advanced Open however Jamie Landers of West Kerry Riding Club managed to get to us riding a lovely round to take the first place in the aforementioned class We then held clear round jumping for all those who wanted another bash of the course and the day was concluded with a novelty pairs competition (thank you Vikki for organising this) which was very tightly fought but with Redim and Pat coming home victorious. The Club would like to thanks James Tarrent the course builder, Micheal Costello the Judge and Charlie Coakley for the use of his facilities for the day. A big thank you too to everyone who turned up Saturday night to put up the course and those who helped take it down. Thanks so much as well for your generosity in bringing prizes for the raffle Marji donated one of her beautiful pieces of handmade pottery which was grabbed up first, and despite the choice of of chocolate and alcohol there was much coverting of a two pronged pike! Thanks to everyone who helped and supported us on the day A final thank you to Amanda Howard our secretary who did a brilliant job organising the day and to her mum Ann Howard who took entries throughout the whole day.
