The children who took part in the ‘Cow & Gate Big Toddle’ in aid of Barnardos in the Barbican last Wednesday.

LAST WEDNESDAY, the Drogheda School of Karate, under the guidance of Andrew Nulty and his wife Aileen, held a 'Cow & Gate Big Toddle' in aid of Barnardos, the children's charity which works with vulnerable children across Ireland.

The children and some parents did five laps of the Plunkett Room and raised money through their Barnardos Sponsorship Cards.

All the children wore their special Barnardos cardboard hats and they were presented with certificates by Andrew, before enjoying refreshments and goodie bags supplied by the school's management meeting.

All the money will go to Barnardos, and the committee would like to thank Andrew and Aileen for organising such a worthwhile event.
