There was no winner of the €10,100 jackpot. The numbers drawn were 4, 7, 14, 23, the €50 lucky dip winners were Kevin Reddin Keelnabrack Glenbeigh, Rachel O Sullivan Keelnabrack Glenbeigh, Evely Griffin Kealduve. Next weeks jackpot is €10,200 and the draw will take place in the Ross Inn.

MARRIAGE: Fr John Kerin officiated at the marriage of Kieran, son of Ann, nee Nolan and the late Jerome O'Sullivan of Mauliarkane and Caroline, daughter of Cathy and Pádraig O'Connell of Cappanagrown at Our Lady of the Valley Church Cillin Liath on Saturday July 20th. Ciara, Evelyn and Selena O'Connell were Bridesmaids with Groomsmen Diarmuid O'Sullivan and Denis O'Shea. Kate and Abbey Logan were Junior Bridesmaids. Musicians and singers were Ailish O'Shea, Ellen Courtney, Emma O'Shea, Gemma Musgrave and Selena O'Connell. The reception was held in the Ballyroe Hotel Tralee. We wish the newlyweds a long and happy life together.
Donal Dwyer of Beenbane died peacefully in Limerick University Hospital after a very brief illness on Monday July 22nd. He was waked in the Fitzgerald Funeral Home on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings and removed from his home to St. Finians Church on Thursday morning for 11:30 am Mass celebrated by Fr. John Kerin P.P. Róisin Ryan sang and played at mass. Members of the Coast Guard, Waterville G.A.A., Huntsmen and anglers formed a Guard of Honour at his removals. Tony O'Shea sounded the Hunting Bugle after his burial in St. Finians Cemetery. Donal is survived by his wife Maura, nee Walsh, children Catherine, Mary, John, Dan, James, Helena, Patrick, Michael, Bridget, Noreen, Denis and Bernie, 45 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, relatives, neighbours and many friends to whom we offer our heartfelt sympathy.
