The mission will involve masses each morning and a mission session each evening from Sunday 23 to Friday 28 February.

There will be a different theme for each night with the opening, which almost 100 groups are expected to attend, focussing on Celebrating Community.

All schools, groups and organisations in the locality who would like to be involved in the opening ceremony on the Sunday night are asked to contact the Parish Office as soon as possible. The Parish Office is opened from Monday to Friday from 10.00am to 2.00pm.

The final night will be on the theme of family and relationships and the special guest will be Bishop of Kerry Ray Browne.

The Mission will end with a parish gathering in the River Island Hotel.

"We hope you can join us throughout the week," said organising group member, Nora Fealey.
