THE weekly GAA club's lotto draw held in the Dingle Bay Hotel on the 2nd had a jackpot prize of €7,800. numbers drawn were 5, 8, 16, 27. no winners. All roads lead to Austin Stacks Park Tralee on this Sunday where Dingle take on St. Kierans in the semi final of the Co. SF championship at 2 p.m.
JUNIOR B. final. An Gaeltacht narrowly defeated Dingle 4-11 to 4-10 in the West Kerry junior B final at Lispole on Saturday last.
A progressive 31 card drive will be held in the Dingle Pub on this Friday night 12th commencing at 9 p.m. sharp.
THE death took place of Ursula Flannery, Fossa, Killarney and late of Goat St. Dingle. Burial was in Dun Urlann Cemetery, Ballyferriter on Monday 8th. The death occurred of Bridie Foley (nee Long) Inch and late of Fionn Tra, also of Vida Poulikaite, Ard na Greine and late of Lithuania.
The death occurred in Cork of Eileen McCarthy (nee O'Sullivan) and late of Burnham.
FOOD AND WINE FAIR
Thousands from all over the country converged on the town last weekend for what the organisers said was the best Food and Wine Festival yet. Over 60 stalls displayed their wares and the weather was kind for both Satuday and Sunday.
