DOZENS of vintage enthusiasts are expected to make their way to Athea this Sunday, September 16 for the village's revived vintage rally.
A new vintage club was set up in the village earlier this year with the aim of giving a new lease of life to the annual vintage show.
The new group is made up of eight local vintage enthusiasts, with Jim O'Connor as chairman.
This year's event promises some great displays of vintage cars, tractors and machinery as well as numerous side-show attractions such as sheaf tossing and other traditional demonstrations.
"The new committee is hoping to bring a new lease of life to the show this year and we are encouraging as many people as possible to come out and enjoy the event," said Jim.
Visitors can also enjoy a selection of trade stands and children's amusements and bouncing castles.
