The Paudi Fitzmaurice Memorial Weekend got off to a great start on Friday night when a huge attendance enjoyed the Dance at the River Island Hotel. Music by the O Connor Trio was enjoyed by all. The massive Tractor Run on Sunday was a fitting tribute to a young man taken before his time. R.I P. The Tractor Run originated in Brosna and travelled to Castleisland finishing at Cordal Community Centre where tea , sanwiches. cake etc was available to all including followers. Special tribute has to go to the organisers helpers, tea-hostesses and anybody involved in a lovely tribute to Paudi and his family. Well Done.
