Console is holding a one-day suicide prevention training programme in Console House, Balloonagh, Tralee on July 16 from 10am to 4pm.
The National Suicide Prevention and Bereavement charity has entitled the programme QPR - Question, Persuade and Refer and say it will enable people to learn how to save lives.
"Just as people who are trained in CPR help save thousands of lives each year, people trained in QPR learn how to recognise the warning signs of a suicide crisis and how to question, persuade and refer someone to help" said Console founder and CEO Paul Kelly.
Booking forms are available on www.console.ie or by ringing Console's Dublin head office on 01 610 2638.
