Coláiste Íde has been listed in sixth place in the Sunday Times league table of the nation's top schools, which was published on Sunday.

"Such a position is an indication of the outstanding level of education received by the students in Coláiste Íde where the average points per student in the Leaving Certificate in 2012 was 500 points," said Príomhoide of Coláiste Íde, Áine Ní Chearbhaill.

The school also recently hosted its end of year celebration at which Sheila Ní Mharannáin (pictured right with Ms Ní Chearbhaill) was named Student of the Year and 22 fifth year students were awarded bronze medals for their participation in the President's Gaisce Awards.
