Choir looks for new members

The Kerry Choral Union at The Roses Gathering official civic welcome in the Square Tralee during the Festival recently. The group is on the lookout for new members for its junior and senior choirs.

THE Kerry Choral Union, which was the star attraction at the official opening of the Rose Gathering celebrations recently, is seeking new members for its junior choir.

The Kerry Choral Union Junior choir is inviting all boys and girls between the ages of 6 and 14 years to audition to join the choir for the 2013 and 2014 season.

Auditions for the Junior Choir will be held in St Brendan's Pastoral Centre on Brewery Road on Saturday September 7 between 2pm and 4pm.

The Kerry Choral Union Junior choir will resume regular rehearsals on Wednesday September 11 2013 from 6pm to 7pm in Collis Sandes House in Killeen, Tralee.

As well as searching out new junior members the choir is also interested in finding new members for its senior section. Senior Choir rehearsals recommence at 7.30pm on Wednesday September 4 and anyone interested in joining is invited to come along.
