Champion style in Co. Final

EVEN though Dingle didn't manage to overcome Dr Crokes in the county championship final, some great times were enjoyed in West Kerry recently as veterans of the game recalled the glory era when Dingle won six county titles between 1938 and 1948.

The family of the late Jackie Fitzgerald, who was a centre half forward for Dingle in 1948 when they beat Shannon Rangers, were also very proud on October 27 as Jackie's grandnephews Adrian and Patrick Ó Dubháin took to the field of play for Dingle against Dr Crokes.
