WEDDING bells were ringing out in the Munster Bar in Ballymullen on Saturday as the Collins and O'Donoghue clans gathered to celebrate the engagement of Aoife Collins and Brian O'Donoghue.

Aoife lives in Manor and works as a teacher in Listowel, while Brian, who is originally from Deelish in Camp, now lives in Tralee where he works in retail. The happy couple are due to get married next October.

On Saturday night they were joined at the celebration party by Aoife's parents, Kathleen and Tommy, and Brian's parents, Mary and John, along with siblings Kieran, Martina, Shane and Gerard as well as many of their friends from Tralee and Cork.

While the wedding is a year away there's lots to be done and Aoife and Brian and busy preparing for their big day.

"There's a lot of work involved but once you have the church and venue sorted that's the main part done. We've a busy year ahead," said Aoife.
