The community council has paid tribute to Joan and Dan Griffin who for over 20 years have worked tirelessly for the council and have just retired having made a commitment to stay until the footbridge was paid for. A presentation was made to them at Top of the Town.

Our new 12 page calendar to help raise funds for the club, is on sale now at a cost of €5 each. It is jam packed with a wide variety of photos which were taking throughout the year. The calendar would make a lovely Christmas present for anyone living at home or abroad. The calendars are available to buy from any of the coaches and at Rose's shop.

Our annual fundraising table quiz took place at The Top of the Town on Thursday night last, where a huge crowd turned out to what was a very enjoyable and fun night.
