Congratulations to Brian Kennedy who won the pewter medal for 4th place in the Un14 Shot Putt at the Community Games National Finals in Athlone IT last weekend with a throw of 12.50m. This was a great result for Brian who was up against strong experienced counties in this field event. Well done to The Un14 Boys Relay Team who qualified from their heat Saturday morning and won a place in the SemiFinals. In the Semi-finals later that evening they ran a brillant race, finishing 5th, just missing out in a place in the final and the last 8. Team - Rian O Sullivan, Joe Hoare, Derry Barrett and Kieran O Connor. Also, well done to Katelyn Reid who performed well throwing over 30metres in the Un12 Girls Ballthrow but was not placed in the medals.
