ONCE again the pupils of Tralee's Gaelscoil Mhic Easmainn have enjoyed success at the annual Gael-Linn Coirm Festival which was held in Siamsa Tíre last week.

Over the years many Gael-Linn awards have been been won by the pupils of the gaelscoil and last week three more pupils were added to that roll of honour.

Gaelscoil Mhic Easmainn pupils, Aoife Ní Dhuilleáin (Teaimín Táilliúir), Dáithí Ó Riagáin (Fear an Bhodhráin) and Jimí Ó Súilleabháin (An SeanRí), representing fifth class won two of the top prizes at the Gael-Linn Coirm Festival for their polished performance of the scéaldráma, 'Teaimín Táilliúir agus Na Fathaigh'.

On March 19 the trio, accompained by 34 of their schoolmates will travel to Ennis with their teacher Colm O hAiniféin to take part in the Féile Scoildrámaíochta Chúige Mumhan where they'll be hoping to receive a nomination for the All-Ireland Féile.

Meanwhile, there was plenty more going on at the gaelscoil in the last few days as the school marked Seachtain na Gaeilge 2014. Activities ranging from Seó Ardáin to Céilithe to a family fun bingo session as well as the annual Lá Oscailte or Open Day.
