Water babies programme
WATER babies in Killarney are preparing to dive into spring courtesy of a special baby and toddler swim school at the Killarney Sports & Leisure Centre later this month.
'Water Babies' is one of Ireland's biggest baby and toddler swim schools and the Killarney classes will kick off at the centre on Wednesday, February 26 with a free taster class.
"Not only does Water Babies teach vital life skills, but it also enhances the way babies and toddlers learn other skills, too," said Denise Ganly, who runs Water Babies classes in Kerry with her husband Dave.
The Water Babies programme is designed to make the most of babies' natural affinity with water, and aims to teach confidence and safety. The core programme lasts 12 months and is divided into five, ten week terms. For more information log on to www.waterbabies.ie.
