Presentation student Niamh makes final of national contest

A young woman with plenty of great ideas about how better to promote and encourage mental health in the country has just been selected to contest the finals of a prestigious national contest on the theme.

Niamh Moloney is being congratulated by her peers and teachers at Presentation Secondary School this week after being chosen to take part in the final of the Mental Health Ireland National Exhibition taking place at the headquarters of Dublin City Corporation on Wednesday, March 29, next.

Niamh said she was delighted with the success, describing it as an 'honour':

"I am delighted to have reached the final," Niamh said. "It's a great honour to represent the school and my teacher Mrs O'Riordan who encouraged me to enter the competition," Niamh added.

The competition recognises the massive importance of getting young people to think about the whole area of mental health today.
