A fine vintage in O'Dorney
ORGANISERS of Abbeydorney's first ever vintage run are this week celebrating success beyond anyone's expectations, after 138 took to the byroads of north Kerry on Saturday last.
A staggering 80 vintage tractor owners turned up to travel the 20 mile route to Kilmoyley, Ardfert and back to Abbeydorney, while an additional 58 classic and vintage car owners enjoyed a 60 mile coastal drive through Ballyheigue, Ballybunion and Beale before heading back through Lisselton and Ballyduff.
On their return, the drivers each received a plaque to mark their participation.
Entrants and spectators enjoyed a post run BBQ and music into the night, marking the end of a very successful inaugural vintage run in the village.
